My "dainty little princess" has been a part of my life since the day she was born 10 years ago. She has always been playful, mischievous and most of all, loving. About two years ago she started having difficulty tolerating our walks. Over the course of two years, she progressively developed hind leg weakness and dragging, incontinence, pain, and her tail began to droop. After trying several different medications, therapeutic laser treatments and several vet visits and testing over the past year, I now have Mika on a medication regimen that keeps her happy and spunky. Though she still has some bad days, knowing what is causing her symptoms makes management of her condition a little bit easier. ​
